ExamAlly pre-launch privacy notice
This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use examally.com and join the ExamAlly waitlist before general release. ExamAlly is a product of Cognihex Limited, which is the data controller.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we may collect:
- Your email address
- Your optional answer to “When are you sitting TMUA?”
- Your consent to be contacted and acceptance of this notice
- The time of sign-up and basic technical information (such as browser user agent) sent with your request
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use this information to contact you once about the ExamAlly launch, in line with the description on our website. We do not run newsletters or marketing drip campaigns from the waitlist. Our legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the waitlist checkbox.
Where data is stored
Waitlist data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore). Google acts as a data processor on our instructions. Data is processed in connection with hosting our website and waitlist API.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist data until we have sent launch information and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing contact@cognihex.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Cookies and analytics
This pre-launch marketing site does not use analytics cookies or similar tracking at present. If we enable tools such as Google Analytics in future, we will update this notice and ask for consent where required. See the Cognihex privacy policy for company-wide practices.
Complaints
If you are in the UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your data protection rights have been breached.
